Here's what an English student can say about learning the language

Hello everyone,

This first post of the year will focus on how an English student, Eliane Lopes (25), felt happy to succeed in her first contact with foreigners and how the language could help her develop her skills on an English course abroad, that's her statement:

"The first time I realized I could speak English fluently was seven years ago when after some years of study I went to Australia for an exchange course and had my first contact with foreigners. I couldn't express how excited and proud of myself I felt when I noticed that I could have a conversation with my classmates, my landlady or even how I could deal with common situations like taking a bus or going shopping. It's amazing to know that speaking this language we can go anywhere and make so many different friends! After this great experience I opened my mind and now I can see the importance of my English classes. I have never stopped studying because I know that it will always help me in my life."

What about you?? What can you say about an English language experience that you've had at any moment of your life?? Tell us and share your good or even bad moments with us!!
